Karen Cameron

After graduating from Three Oaks High School in Summerside, Karen completed her undergraduate degree while playing Varsity Basketball for the Memorial University Women’s Seahawks.

Karen also obtained a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario. Since then, she has lived and worked in many parts of the world and has been employed in a variety of senior roles, including Operations Manger for a telecommunications company in the Caribbean; Assistant Country Director (Operations) for a non profit in Zimbabwe; Management Consultant for CIBC head office in Toronto and Head of Financial Planning & Business Improvement for a School Travel Company in England.

Since returning to the Island in 2014, Karen has worked at UPEI, StandardAero and PEI Mutual.

Karen spends her free time with her two kids, Louisa (8) and Finn (6).
